... for a two year old and a four year old. They seem to enjoy music videos from OK GO and Will Pharr ell’s “Happy”, but we’re slowly growing a little tired of the same dozen or so videos . So far they don’t seem to like Blue Man Group (it’s a little strange to them, I think). Anyone here have any other recommendations?

OK GO was going to be my recommendation. Imagine Dragons and Bastille each had some interesting ones if I remember correctly.

my kids loved ho hey and the theme song to The big bang theory. Theres a really cool animated drawing video that goes with it. any time it came on they would run into the livingroom.

I don’t know if I could subject myself to that. (I’m not a fan of the show).

Maybe? I don’t know if kids these days would like this, but I do.
Try to avoid anything that has the words “Kidz Bop” in the title. It’s terrible. But look for a Kidz Bop title, and just
play the same
songs
by the original “artist”. That should work.

Interstella 5555? The daft punk anime band thing for the album Discovery? It’s been a while, idk if it’s age appropriate, but there’s a whole album worth of animated music video. And it’s good music.

We go for Casper babypants. He's the lead singer of Presidents of the United States of America but does kids music now. Try Stompy the Bear.

My kids love Madball. Lots of mosh, while also teaching important life lessons.

My 3 1/2 year old likes Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. There’s only a couple instances of not so good language over their catalog

I DJ’d at a radio station at Purdue back in the 90s. The link below is one of the favorite albums I came across. Remakes of 70’s cartoon themes by some really cool bands.

Look at Aquabats and They Might be Giants. Both off beat bands that the members grew up and had kids and started making kids music they wanted to listen to. Also made plenty of fun music with entertaining videos before the kids stuff too.

My 13 year -old son loves Madball, but has been listening to Terror’s new album lately. So good...
For 2-4 year olds though, you really can’t go wrong with the movie “Live From Antarctica” by Gwar.

Terror has put on some of the best shows I’ve ever been to. Scott Vogel really knows how to wreck a room. There used to be website that would have have a black screen and white text of ridiculous Vogel quotes. Every refresh brough up a new quote.
If you’re into Death Metal at all, a couple of Tucson hardcore kids are in a band called Gatecreeper . They’ve been blowing up lately.

Nice, I dig it! Love me some death metal too... Funny “small world” type thing, one of my regular customers is Mike Oxley, from the bands Fatskins and Oxley’s Midnight Runners. Old school anti-racist skinhead bands, great oi stuff. He’s really good friends with Lars Fron Rancid, and Roger Miret from Agnostic Front. Roger lives here in Phoenix, and when he isn’t on the road, he actually works for Mike to pay the bills. Super cool dude.
